Spinal problems can be treated very effectively. Prior to therapy, however, an accurate diagnosis must be made in order to isolate the actual cause of the pain (damage to discs, joint damage, muscle problems, osteoporosis, etc.).
In addition to medication and physical therapy (PT, massage, manual therapy, fango packs, electrotherapy), we perform a series of injection techniques in the region of the spine based on imaging results. The injections used include nerve root infiltrations, facet joint infiltrations, epidural periradicular injection therapy, and sacral epidural injections, depending on the indication.
For particularly serious progressions, the necessary treatment procedures can be combined with individualized pain therapy in an intensive spine program performed on an inpatient basis. Surgical interventions are rarely necessary.
